It's a waste of time and nerve. the employees of this agency are very unprofessional, which is also demonstrated by the agency itself. they sent me to the harrow school construction site. on site the construction manager told me to wait in the canteen in hot weather for induction. After more than an hour of waiting, no one came, because they ignored me, and then I was told to come on the next day. I wasted all day and money. and no one even apologized for it .. I advise , stay away from this agency ..
This company won’t pay you. Stay away from them. They sent me to a job 3 weeks ago and I still haven’t been paid, they keep making excuses like “the lady in pay roll isn’t around” so nothing can be done until she’s back. It’s been over 3 weeks and they haven’t paid me. Stay away from this agency, so unprofessional. And rude.
Started with the company on £18 ph. After a two week period during which I shared my concerns with Ricardo and co Re; £18 ph wasn’t enough to cover costs of accommodation etc. Fomac agreed to up the rate to £20 ph. Fomac sent me a text confirming this and to all my colleagues announcing the new rate. They also changed their advert for the role again confirming the new rate. After 5 weeks of me receiving the new rate I was called to the office. I was informed that I should not have received this increase and should of always been on £18 ph. The following week fomac deducted my pay by £244. Obviously I called them strait away and was told; the deduction was me repaying 5 weeks worth of the extra £2 ph I should of not received. I challenged them and was told like it or lump it. Fomac - not a very nice place to work.
I’ve worked for and with Fomac many times for many years and always found them to be extremely professional in all aspects. In particular James and John the owners of the company and Robbie their right hand man, have a very hands on approach to recruitment, it is not unusual to see them dealing first hand with issues of not only the management but also the trades and labourers, most of whom they know by name. Very refreshing.
Fomac are an excellent company. Always there to help find you a job whether it be long term or short term and always paid on time. Would definitely reccomend fomac if you are looking for a temporary or permanent position. Friendly and helpful staff who always make sure there are no problems. Always offering an excellent service.
