I had a good experience at the Car Valley in Wembley. I was given plenty of time to inspect the car. I received advice from the knowledgeable team and took the car for a test drive. The buying process was simple and I was happy with the purchase. 5 stars.
Absolutely awful company, got a car within a few weeks. The head gasket had gone and oil leak, and the mechanic said there was lots of other things wrong with the car, but I’m a young girl and went on my own so they took advantage of that clearly, and when i called them they were very rude didn’t want anything to do with it, said it’s our problem, not there’s ???????????? don’t even deserve one star stay away !!!
Came to view car only to find out it was a scrap yard and not a car dealership. The car on autotrader said it had full service when questioned apparently it was a mistake. No locking wheel nuts, lights on the dash. Staff were rude. If this was the last car on earth i would rather get a trolley. Avoid avoid avoid.
Completely unhelpful team, the vehicle I purchased (Mercedes VIANO Minibus) was almost as described in the advert but knowing that I was a serious buyer, driving over 60 Miles to view and potentially purchase the vehicle they made no effort whatsoever to have the vehicle ready for an inspection, it had a flat tyre and dead battery and was dirty inside and out. Knowing enough about the mechanical components to make a buying decision I did purchase the vehicle and to be honest the attitude of the business owner was rather rude and obtuse. I drove from Wembley to Southend straight to my mechanics workshop and when I stopped the battery was so flat it wouldn't even turn over, however I had already phoned ahead and instructed my mechanics to order a new battery which was waiting when I arrived, Car Valley had replaced the battery in July (just 4 months prior) but they bought the cheapest P.O.S. on the market and it really wasn't fit for purpose. In general the vehicle is mechanically sound and after some minor repairs it will be a reliable, solid vehicle but I caution any prospective purchaser to be very conscious that the team at Car Valley don't care and clearly don't have any proper mechanical knowledge or qualifications they just want to sell and make a quick buck so unless you know what you're doing take a mechanic along or get the RAC or AA to inspect any vehicle you are considering purchasing (BEFORE YOU PUT A DEPOSIT DOWN), their stock looked poorly maintained and uncared for in general, most were dirty and they clearly need to use boosters to get them running due to the lack of routine maintenance of their stock... If you are going to buy from them make certain you take an experienced professional along with you to check the vehicle over properly and do an online HPi check before you even go there (I did), it's better to spend £19.00 than to lose several thousand pounds because their warranty is worthless having read their Terms and Conditions and the other reviews give me the impression you will not get any money back if something does go seriously wrong.
