Having studied French @ school I was looking for a local group to practice what French I remembered. I found Virginie 2 yrs ago, pre pandemic and very local. The classes are informal, informative and builds confidence. I learn a lot with regards to grammar and conversation which helps towards fluency of the language. Well recommended with very motivating and informal group sessions. Includes fun while you learn.
Having decided to move to France in 2019, Virginie helped me build my confidence and my spoken French in informal, interesting and fun 1:1 sessions. The opportunity to discuss topics and themes that were relevant to my situation and needs rather than sticking to text books and grammar alone was so valuable. Having got to France, conversation sessions over zoom during lockdown were fantastic to keep the learning going. Virginie has helped me to be equipped for life here in France and I would recommend her for supportive and useful language learning.
Excellent, fun, informative, engaging; everything you could possibly want. I did several months of lessons, tailored to my level really well. Trips to France shall never be the same again :)
Virginie is a fantastic teacher. We had one-to-one lessons online which were a combination of conversational french, grammar, comprehension and thematic aspects of French culture. We spent time on things until I properly understood them and got them right, which is what's been missing for me with other language classes in the past where I'd miss something and end up left behind. Virginie would give me a manageable amount of homework to do, to help consolidate what we'd covered in lessons. I learnt so much more than I had in previous regular language classes as this was a really holistic learning experience.
